What is the difference " matrimony" and " marriage "

    Hi for all,

I am asking about these words: matrimony and marriage. Is there a difference between them, please?

    Thanks in advanced,

Why don't you write a few sentences for which you're not sure which word to use? We will take a look and offer our suggestions.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
