    I got selected

    Hi,
Please look at the following sentences if they are correct. Have I used an appropriate preposition?

    I got selected to university.
    I got selected in university.

Neither sounds natural to me. I got into or was admitted to Harvard sounds natural in the American context.

    Re: I got selected

    not a teacher

I agree with probus, but if "I got selected…" is the appropriate phrase for your context then I would expect "for" to be the preposition.
    "I got selected for university."
