    Revelations

Today's newspaper revealed some interesting facts about global warming.

I want to use the word "revelations" and express the same meaning.

    My sentence is:

There was some revelations about some interesting facts about global warming in today's newspaper.

    It is correct?
“When you see a brother sin, be a private educator, not a public tribunal.”

No. You could write: Today's newspaper contained some interesting revelations about global warming.
