    Palls into Insignificance.

I have always used the above expression but I see lately that more and more people use the word Pales. Is this due to people not understanding the meaning of the word palls or am I incorrect in using Palls.

I searched the phrase using Palls and their are 9000 people who have used this on the web, but many more use Pales.

Have you any idea where I can search the original use of the phrase and which word was originally used.

    Thank you.
