    Also, please remember what I told you in another thread:


    Please mark out the words you are asking about in some way:

    I have to know how to use a 'has been' and 'had been.
    I have to know how to use a "has been" and "had been".
    I have to know how to use a has been and had been


    It's also normal to make a request rather than simply state your need:

    I have to know how to use 'has been' and 'had been'. Can you help, please?

    In future, give an indication in the title of what your question is about. Has/have been/should be? would have told us far more than grammar - many of the questions submitted here are about points of grammar.
