I'm in the 3rd intermediate year.
I'm in the 3rd intermediate grade.

None of them means much in BrE. How old are you? How old were you when you were in the first year? What does 'intermediate' refer to here?

I'm in the third year of Middle school.

Bear in mind that speakers of BrE and AmE don't understand each other when they talk about which year/class/grade they are in, so many people will not understand exactly what you mean unless you say something like: We go to middle school at 13. I'm in the third year.

In most schools in England, if you are 14/15, you are in Year Ten, and if you are 15/16, you are in Year Eleven.
