    passed away

My parents passes away when I was young.
Whenever someone asked me, I used to reply as "My parents passed away when I was young".
I would like to know other ways.
    Thanks in advance.

    Re: passed away

I hope you realise that 'My parents passes away when I was young' is incorrect. I don't know why you wrote that.

'My parents passed away when I was young' is correct.

You can also say 'My parents died when I was 12.'

'I lost my parents when I was still at school.'

'I was orphaned at an early age.'

    NOT A TEACHER

To say simply, you can say "My parents died when I was young."
