    Post take off

    Hi,

Could anyone please explain to me what does mean "take off" in the sentence below?

The Y-12 plant was taken off uranium-isotope separation.

    Thanks

    Re: take off

To me, it means the authorities denied permission for the plant to continue the uranium-isotope separation.

Or was re-directed to some other mission.
