    how much more difficult

Does " how much more difficult " make sense? Doesn't "how more difficult" also do like "how tall, how big, how fast, etc"?

31)I remember how much more difficult my first day was than my last day in the camp.

    Re: how much more difficult

    It makes perfect sense.

Compare: 'How much taller is your brother than you?'

    Re: how much more difficult

Then, what would it mean to say without "much" like this?

I remember how more difficult my first day was than my last day in the camp

It would mean nothing. It is ungrammatical - incorrect. You would say "I remember how much more difficult my first day at camp was than my last day".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

One can say: "how tall", "how difficult" or "how much taller", "how much more difficult". Do you see the parallels?
