    asking location

    Hi teacher,

I would like to ask a question about how to describe the specific location you are at for a 1.street, 2.road, 3, avenue, and 4,housing estate. For example: Could you please tell me which street I am at? etc. It's XXX street. If you could give me the pattern with questions and answers for all the four I would highly appreciate it. Thanks very much!

I'm sure that, after 99 posts, you have realised that we don't do your work for you. This sounds like homework but, even if it's not, we're not just going to give you answers. Tell us how you think you would ask these questions and we will comment (if it's not an assignment).
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

If I were in this situation, I would ask like this:
    1. Could you please tell me which street I am at?
    2. Could you please tell me which road I am on?
    3. Could you please tell me which avenue I am on?
    4. Could you please tell me which housing estate I am in?

    Thanks for your help again!

I'd say for the frst three, "Could you tell me the name of this street/road, please" / Do you know the name of this street/road, please?"

    You #4 is fine.
