    in a street

Hi there, When talking about roads, and streets, I've seen sentences using 'in' and 'on'. Which is correct? If both are, could you explain the use, please? Thank you.

It differs between English variants. In BrE, we tend to use "in".

Harrods is in Brompton Road, Knightsbridge.
My brother's house is in Greenlink Avenue.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

In AmE, for the location of a house, we would say "on".
