Differ or distinguish or contrast or read

Children must be taught how to ... between right and wrong.

    1-Differ
    2-Distinguish
    3-Contrast
    4-Read

I select distinguish. Is it the right word?

Children must be taught how to distinguish between right and wrong.

    Yes.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Well, if you have on your mind that your children should be learned how to act neither naughtily nor decently /somewhere between/, the answer is yes.
