    fearing / fearing from

    Which sentence is correct?

    1. Even the god of death will start fearing me.

    2. Even the god of death will start fearing from me.

    Please explain.

    Only the first is correct. There is nothing to explain - we don't fear (verb) from things, though we may have little/nothing to fear from from them.
