    Lightbulb as follows?

    Hi!

Could you please explain why it is normally written 'as follows'?

    e.g.

The meeting will be held as follows:

    Date: xx
    Venye: xxx

    Why 'follows' and not 'follow'?

    Thank you very much.

    Re: as follows?

It's what can be called a 'set phrase', kwzr.

This explains it better than I could (click on the underlined link).
