    decorate/redecorate

    Hi,
    1. I want to decorate my house.
    2. I want to redecorate my house.

    Are these two sentences acceptable?
    Thank you.

The context may be a bit different. If it is a new house (for you) would decorate it. If it is an old house (for you), you would redecorate it.
