    No. Here are two correct versions (many more are possible)

    1. Not only did my uncle bring me to the city, he also found a good job for me. (This is the same as your first sentence, but with the semicolon changed to a comma.)

    2. My uncle not only brought me to the city, but he also found a good job for me. (Your second attempt fails to mention your uncle.)
