    I was told that if the motor part/s were out of order,

    I was told that if the motor part/s were out of order, I would have to pay $60 for the transport charges.

    Is the underlined parts OK?

    It depends on what you are trying to say. Are you allowing for the possibility that it may be one part or it may be 2 or more parts?

    "Out of order" is the wrong phrase here. "Out of order" means something is broken or not functioning. We had to take the stairs because the elevator was out of order.

    You mean if the parts are not in stock, they would have to order the parts from elsewhere and you would need to pay for the shipping costs.
