    Endowed with or bestowed upon

I was endowed with/ bestowed upon gifts by my school principal.

Which phrase is correct in this context?

Neither works. Did your principal give you presents?

Re: Endowed with or bestowed upon

I was given gifts/presents by my principal. My principal gave me gifts/presents.

This does seem to be an unusual situation.
