Elephants have long trunks. In the elephant world, a trunk is far more useful than a simple nose.

re: Elephant have a long nose

Mike was kind enough to correct your sentence.

Please note that your command to us "correct this sentence" is both rude and a very unhelpful thread title.

Please give your threads useful titles that tell us what your post is about. "Elephants have long noses" for example.

Also please note that proper English requires capital letters. We understand that learners make mistakes, but you should TRY.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    Re: correct my sentence

I have changed all your thread titles so they are relevant. Any post you make after 3.30pm UK time today without a relevant title risks being deleted.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
