Are you sure your native language is English?

Name an item or picture that [strike]began[/strike] begins with the same sound as the letter s-sun, t-tag, or u-umbrella.

Welcome to the forum.

As bhaisahab said, are you sure your native language is English? It is very important that all the information in your member profile is correct. Your member type shows "Other". You seem to be trying to an exercise we would expect to see done by learners of English. If you are studying or learning English, your member type should be "Student or Learner".

In addition, please see my amendments to your post in red. Please follow the rules of written English:

- Start every sentence with a capital letter.
- End every sentence with a single appropriate punctuation mark.

The spelling in your title should be "Rhyming words". However, the instructions make no sense. We can't name a picture which begins with a sound. We also can't name an item or anything else that starts with the same sound as the letter s, t or u. It is possible to find words which rhyme with sun, tag and umbrella.

Your question sounds like homework. When must you submit it to your teacher?

Are you asking for something that starts with "stu (short u)"? This is not clear because the rhyming part is determined by the ending not the beginning.

I think sun/tag/umbrella could be meant to be the answers. If so, they're wrong as they don't sound like the letters.

If they're meant to rhyme, couldn't you have things like estimate?

I don't think so. Estimate begins with the letter e.

I agree. I was going to suggest essence. I don't think we'll get anywhere with this until the OP comes back to us and explains the rather unclear instructions.
