    Which sentence is better?

    Hi! ^^

I found a sentence unfamiliar to me.

A great belt of desert stretches nearly lhalfway around the world. Starting in North India, it passes west through Pakistan and Afghanistan, continues through the Near East, crosses Africa as the Sahara, and leaping the Atlantic, ends in Mexico and the Southwest United States.

In my opinion, it is better to be changed like this. Am I wrong?

I appreciate your help in advance. ^^

    Re: Which sentence is better?

There is nothing to choose between them. To all intents and purposes they are identical.

    Re: Which sentence is better?

Please give your threads more relevant titles. The title should include some or all of the words being queried. A good title would have been "... and leaping the Atlantic" or something similar.

Also, please stop typing ^^ - it means absolutely nothing in English. If you want to use an emoticon/smiley, please select the "Smiley" icon from the toolbar and choose one from there.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
