    Adjective + noun

    Hey,
Which sentence is correct ? Longman says the first one. I don't know the reason. I think in this case attendant is an adjective. If so, how can we have noun + adjective ?

Drugs are one of the issues attendant on running a school.ORDrugs are one of the attendant issues on running a school.
