as if + present tense.

I have often seen "as if" is followed by past tense, but is it possible to use present tense after it? For eg.
" You are eating as if You have a train to catch".

Yes, that is OK, but the second 'you' must not be capitalised.

Yes, that is OK, but the second 'you' must not be capitalised.

And you need to remove the space after the opening quotation mark.
