A durian is a fruit, it doesn't have fruit.

Sweet? Have you tasted one? They are banned from some places because they smell of rotting flesh. I have tasted the dried version and it was one of the most disgusting experiences of my life!

I am referring to the seeds in the durian. What should I call them? Seeds, but then it implies the fleshy parts of the seeds are missing. I am at a loss.

If you are referring to the seeds, then the fleshy part is irrelevant.
