Is mustn't a possible tag for have to?

    Hi
Can 'mustn't' be used as a possible question tag for have to/has to?
    I have to take a day off, don't I? mustn't I?

    Thanks
Being a non-native teacher, I'm so thrilled being in such a superb forum.

    No. Only 'don't I?' works.

    See please:
I will take your words for granted, though. Thank you, 5jj.

I think you mean that you will take my word for it rather than take my word for granted.

Please don't. I, like all of use here, can make mistakes. I think that the writer of that article is mistaken in suggesting that 'I have to work, mustn't I' is natural. Others may disagree. Let's see.

Re: Is mustn't a possible tag for have to?

    I agree with 5jj.

    I have to work, don't I?
    I must work, mustn't I?

I find a combination of those completely unnatural.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
