Hi everyone,

Are these sentences correct? I am more concerned about the second one.

1. I'd rather you called him.
2. I'd prefer you to call him.

They're both correct, only if you change the position of the apostrophe in your first sentence.

You can also use: "I'd prefer that you call him".

I guess in the USA, they'd also say I'd prefer for you to call him.
