    Which version of expression is correct:
    a) much less quantity of factors
    b) much smaller quantity of factors
    c) much fewer quantity of factors

    "Fewer factors" is more natural.

    A "smaller quantity of factors" if you want to word it that way. But "smaller number of factors" is better.
