    intention/result

1- Jeff did something to make Tim angry.
2- Jeff did something so that Tim got angry.
3- Jeff did something that Tim got angry.
4- Jeff did something for Tim to get angry.

Which of the above necessarily imply:
    a-Tim did indeed become angry
b-Jeff intended to make Tim angry

    Do any of them mean:

c-If Tim got angry, the reason must have been something Jeff did

    Gratefully,
    Navi.

    Re: intention/result

Item 3 is ungrammatical and therefore unintelligible.

    Re: intention/result

Thank you both very much Probus and Mike.

What do you think of these:

a-What did Jeff do to make Tim get angry?

b-What did Jeff do so that Tim got angry?
c-What did Jeff do that Tim got angry?
d-What did Jeff do for Tim to get angry?

And does 'a' imply that Jeff intended to make Tim angry?

    Gratefully,
    Navi.

Not necessarily. It could have been inadvertent.

    Thank you very much Mike,

So would you say that a-d are all correct?

    Gratefully,
    Navi.

Grammatical but not natural, except #1.

I don't know if it's me or BrE, but 4 sounds OK to me.
