    negatively impacting

    Are these sentences correct:

1-This habit has become negatively impacting on his life.

2-This habit has become a negatively impacting habit in his life.

I guess 'negatively impacting' is used as an adjective in them. Maybe it needs a hyphen.

    Gratefully,
    Navi.

Neither of them works for me.

This habit has negatively impacted his life.

    Re: negatively impacting

Or you could make it a noun phrase: this habit has become a negative impact on his life.
