Is there a pronunciation difference between these two words:
1. causes (noun, plural)
2. causes (verb)
Is it that 'causes' (n) is said something like this - cozez (the last 's' has a 'z' sound), and for 'causes' (v), it is - cozes (the last 's' sounds like 's')?
Yes, it is.
The first vowel may be different in BrE and AmE, but both varieties have two /z/ sounds.
You will see the word "because" shortened to "cause" sometimes (with or without an apostrophe at the beginning). That is pronounced "coz".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
