    I am writing an email to a friend, and her husband helped me on my resume. in the email, can I say:
    Please tell him thank you for help me on my resume. ?

    Either "for the help on/with my resume" or "for helping me with my resume."
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
