    Online Grammar: Does it work?

A few days ago, I found this site that can check any sentence you put in, and I was testing it for accuracy.

This is a sentence I put in:

This is a very good software, I can finish my work in minutes.

It indicated that sentence is fine with no error.

Is this a run-on sentence/ comma splice error?

Any good suggestions in checking my sentence for grammatical errors.

If I were you, I would delete that web site. There are two things wrong with the sentence. There should be no article before "very" and it is a comma splice. You can either make it two sentences with a period (full stop) after "software", or keep it as one sentence by puttiing a semicolon after "software".

Such sites may be some use, but do not expect them to be perfect. We're many years from having that sort of technology with language.
