    Wink engage in...

    Need help!

Pls explain the following sentence, especially the bold text, in plain(er) English. Thank you!!!

Ether is also the corresponding medium that engages in a sympathetic intercourse with other success principles such as positive thinking, goal-setting, etc.

    Re: engage in...

    Hello Beeja

It seems to mean that "Ether" works in harmony with positive thinking, etc.

    Do you have more context?

    Re: engage in...

    Hi MrP,

Tks for your help, below is some part of the context.

In order to better and more easily become successful, one must understand how the medium of "empty space" operates so that it can be used to one's best advantage. For instance, over 65% of the way people communicate is nonverbally accomplished through this medium, and your ability to communicate effectively is essential to becoming successful. But nonverbal communication is only one of the many processes affected by and through empty space. The "ether" is also the corresponding medium that engages in a sympathetic intercourse with other success principles such as visualization, intention and attention, and the power of positive thinking. So knowledge of the operation and properties of empty space gives one an advantage, while lack of knowledge about it relegates one to experience consequences.

That which we call empty space is a communicative medium in which are located the lines of attachment that connect all things. The living medium that we "see" as empty space connects all of us to each other and to everything.

Oh! while typing, it strikes me that perhaps "ether", in this context, is a corresponding medium for sympathetic intercourse as well as for visualization, intention, blablabla. What do you think??

For the 2nd paragraph, the bold text (as strange as it sounds 'coz it refers to the quantum physic stuff), does it mean the ether is something alive in the universe where everything is connected and ehter itself is a "middleman" for communication???

    Re: engage in...

    Hello Beeja

I find it a slightly obscure text; but I think the intended meaning is that a) all things are connected b) because of this interconnectivity, all creatures can communicate in non-verbal ways c) this non-verbal communication takes place in "the ether".

I think the idea is that the "success principles" resonate in this medium, and that that "resonance" is "sympathetic intercourse".

It's an unusual text. Where does it come from, out of interest?

    MrP
