How would I express this feeling?

    Dear teachers.
I am having a problen wih presenting an idea shortly and naturally.

I want to say to mean that in a certain time I feel happy and in a certain time I feel sad in my life. Could I say "I feel happy and sad time by time." ? How would you say?
Context: Suppose today I am happy because of certain things and I may also be sad tomorrow because of certain things or reasons.

    Thanks.
