Need a word to introduce something which changes time by time.

    Dear teachers.

If something changes time by time, second by second, hour by hour, day by day, month my month, year by year etc, how should we say that kind of thing. Suppose I want to say that English is a language which changes time by time (to be honest, it is true). Here with that case, which word would be best to introduce the English language.

    Thanks.

This is more of a philosophical question than one of language. One could say that every time a single person utters a new phrase or uses a word in a different way, the language changes (ever so slightly). However, the entire scope of the English language changes slowly. If I had to pick, I would choose "year by year".

So you say that there is no specific word for that changing, right?

    .
You could say that language evolves.

    Evolve

    Verb
    1. to develop or cause to develop gradually
    2. (intransitive) (of animal or plant species) to undergo evolution

    (Collins)
