Question The point of problem recognition

    Hi,
what does the expression "the point problem recognition" mean? the context is
The point of problem recognition is the place or the location where the problem has occurred. For me, the point of problem recognition was the employees approaching me with resignation letters. Up until then, I was unaware of what was going wrong. I felt their resentment and causes upfront. Does it really mean the location or the moment that he/she realized that there is a problem?
    Thanks in advance.

It means the moment that the person realised there was a problem.

I think that's probably right, even though it contradicts the passage itself which states that it's the place where the problem occurred.
