    Regarding to the sentence below, does "value" refer to the " firm's value" or it does refer to the "global value (price)" of something (e.g. services, goods)?



    Thus, a firm that wants to be a cost leader and unnecessarily bloats its costs by overengineering its activities is actually destroying value.
