Hello,
I read that there are hundreds of prepositions in English and to learn them all will take years of practice. My question is a preposition can appear at the end of a statement, for example:

1. The family is eating inside.
2. She is running outside.

I think "inside" and "outside" are prepositions. Am I right?

These words can be prepositions. Many would classify them as adverbs in those sentences.

In those uses, the words are adverbs. They modify verbs and answer the question "where".

And the short answer to your (other) question - yes, a preposition can appear at the end of a sentence.
