    Past simple and Present perfect

    Which is correct...
    a. I spent the whole day putting addresses into the computer
    b. I've spent the whole day putting addresses into the computer

    Both are possible, if you close with a full stop.

    Will be the first part of the sentence in present perfect?

    A better title would have been
    'I spent/have spent the whole day'.

    'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'
