Take a sit or Have a sit

Dear all, what is the difference between Take sit or have a sit. And what is the polite expression to answer to someone who ask a help but you canít do it currently.

    Wish all a nice day.

Re: Take a sit or Have a sit

Take a seat/have a seat - These are both fine- there's no real difference.

To say no when asked to help:
    I'm very sorry, but I'm afraid I can't because... (give a reason)
