    entertaining vs recreational

    Please take a look at the sentence below.

    "Neither you nor I want to see the movie because it is neither (A. entertaining B. recreational) nor instructive."

    I think A is correct, but I wonder whether B is also correct. I know that watching the movie is a recreational activity, but can I say the movie is recreational? Thank you.

    Yes, you can say that watching a movie is recreational. However, your question requires you to decide whether watching a movie can be not recreational.
    "It" here could refer to "seeing the movie" rather than simply "the movie", but I don't think that's the point they are making.
    A. is the obvious answer.
