    become emotionally aware

    Dear all,

You cannot become emotionally aware just by thinking about it.

I found this sentence in a dictionary without context. What does "emotionally aware" mean?

Does it mean "fully understand" or somrthing like that?

    Thank you!

    Re: become emotionally aware

I was checking the meaning of "aware" that is used this way. "Everyone needs to become more environmentally aware."
Among the examples in the dictionary titled "Oxford Sentence Dictionary", "environmentally aware" and "politically aware" make sense to me, but "emotionally aware" doesn't. The problem is that there's no context because this is an example sentence. That's why I posted a question.

    Emotional awareness definition

Developing emotional awareness means becoming 100% aware of your emotions in such a way that you always know why you are feeling bad or experiencing any other emotion even if you can’t do something about it.
