    Present Perfect vs Past Tense

    HI!
My grammar book mentions that " the present perfect tense may be used in both the since clause and the main clause".
Now, I'd like to know how these two sentences differ with one another?

She has not felt well since she had the flu last month.

Get a different grammar book - and cut down on the exclamation marks.

    What about this one?

I have had a dog ever since I have owned a house.

Do you mean that using perfect sentence both in main clause and since clause is wrong under any circumstances?

I see that you went to another forum to check my last response. There is no point in my wasting my time trying to respond if you are going to do that.

I am not going to quarrel with you. I did not know that you may be annoyed because of that. Probably, cultural differences have caused this problem and I think what I did is not against the laws. Anyway, to answer my question or not, I'm obliged to you for your replies. My sincere thanks to you from the bottom of my heart!

But I like to post my questions in different forums, that's related to my personality.

If you are grateful to people who respond to your questions, then don't post the same question in different forums. It wastes the time of people who make some effort to respond to a question, and then find that it has already received a response elsewhere.

But I like to post my questions in different forums, that's related to my personality.
It's not a personality trait that is appreciated in forums.

You also need to take into account that other teachers here (two now) have agreed with 5jj's answer - implicitly by 'liking' it. If an answer given here is wrong, it will be challenged.

Quite. I have more than once made use of the smiley when another member has noticed a mistake I have made.
