[Grammar] It took Jin and Tom seven weeks / seven weeks for Jin and to climb up the mountain.

1. It took Jin and Tom seven weeks to climb up the mountain.

2. It took seven weeks for Jin and Tom to climb up the mountain.

3. It took me seven weeks to climb up the mountain.

4. It took seven weeks for me to climb up the mountain.


My grammar book says sentence 1 is ungrammatical and I wonder if my book is correct.
