    Conditional

    Dear members,

I would like to hear some suggestions about this sentence (I am applying for a scholarship):

"If I have had the needed funds, I could not have thought of a better place to invest them".

First - Do you think it is grammatically correct, and
Second - Does it convey the right meaning (that if I cold afford the course I wouldn't be applying for a scholarship)?

    Thank you in advance

It seems a strange thing to say if you are asking for money.

    Re: Conditional

Thanks, hahaha, I realised it that after I wrote the thread, but anyway thank you very much !

Another thing - do you think it is too much to say "professional world-class environmental non-governmental organizations"?
