After I finish my work, I will talk to you. [comma]

    1. After I finish my work, I will talk to you.
    2. After I finish my work I will talk to you.

    Hello,
I have some doubts on them. I mean using the comma after the word "work"
I think 1 is correct and 2 is incorrect.

    Right?

When you write the independent clause first, you don't use the comma.
I will call you after I finish...

After I finish..., I will call you.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
