relax and keep on your preparation.

    Hello.

My friend asked me: Ís there any advice you could give me? (We're talking about his exams)
I replied: "I can just advise you relax and keep on your preparation".

I really don't like my sentence at all. I think it doesn't sound natural.
Can you improve my sentence? Is "keep on" appropriate there?

    Thanks in advance.
Please, correct all my mistakes. I should know English perfectly and if you show me my mistakes I will achieve my dream a little bit faster. A lot of thanks.

Not a teacher nor a native speaker.

Re: relax and keep on your preparation.

I would express it as "I would just advise you to relax and keep up with your preparation". You could also say "keep going.." or, indeed, "keep on going.."
I'm not a teacher of English, but I have spoken it for (almost) all of my life....
