on the face, (the) chest, and (the) legs

I will tell you about a friend of mine, Joey.
    1. He has tattoos on the face, the chest, and the legs.
    2. He has tattoos on the face, chest, and legs.

I was wondering if I may omit the second and third "the" like sentence 2.

Are both of 1 and 2 correct? Which is more natural?

Yes, you can omit the second and third the in your sentence. It won't change the meaning.

Re: on the face, (the) chest, and (the) legs

I would suggest "He has tattoos on his face, chest, and legs.
Don't know why, but it sounds more natural.

What do you think about "on his own face"...?

I'm not going to say it, just asking.

    Boris.

Please, correct all my mistakes. I should know English perfectly and if you show me my mistakes I will achieve my dream a little bit faster. A lot of thanks.

Forget it, Boris. He wouldn't have tattoos on anybody else's face....'

Thank you, but I'm still wondering which of 1 or 2 would be more natural (if I had to use "the", not "his").
