Question A little question about comparision sentence

Hi. I want to quest a thing. Which one is true "Susan Porter is a good singer than her sister." or "Susan Porter is a better singer than her sister." In our English lesson while we was doing an exercise about comparison, our teacher said it should be "good" but I do not think so. As a reason she said, there is "a" article before it. Is she right? Thanks already.

    Welcome to the forums, MSafa.
"Susan Porter is a better singer than her sister." This is correct.

Additionally, please note that a better title would have been 'Susan Porter is a good singer than her sister'.
