    Field of studies

    Hi
I want to say that I studied Urban Design at university for master, and before that (or back then?) in bachelor I studied Architecture. And I also want to ask someone else the same things. I would be thankful if you help me to know the correct sentence.
And I want to know this sentence is correct or not : Whats your major at university in bachelor and in master?

    thank you

In AmE, you might say "I earned a bachelor's degree in architecture and then a master's degree in urban design. What is your academic background"?

    Thank you very much,
You mean using the word "major" is wrong for this question? For example if I want to know what's her field of study right now? (I mean if she hasn't finished the university yet)

Not at all. "Major" as a noun/verb is quite common. I gave you one way to ask your question; there are many others.

    What are you majoring in?
    What is your major?
    What are you studying?
